This product is white or off-white freeze-dried block or powder.
Pharmacodynamics Buserelin is a synthetic peptide hormone with a function analogous to the natural gonadotropin-releasing hormone(GnRH), which stimulates the pituitary to release follicle-stimulating hormone(FSH) and luteinizing hormone(LH) into the blood. In addition, administration of doses higher than clinically recommended doses does not further stimulate the release of FSH and LH. At the same time, buserelin stimulates gonadal steroid secretion. Buserelin has the ability to induce and synchronize ovulation for sow; and synchronize estrus in dairy cows and improve the pregnancy rate of dairy cows.
Pharmacokinetic. Buserelin is rapidly absorbed and excreted after injection. After injection, the body can rapidly release luteinizing hormone. The metabolism of buserelin occurs in the liver, kidney and pituitary gland, and all metabolites are small-molecule inactive peptides that are mainly excreted through urine.
It is used to induce ovulation in sows, synchronize estrus in dairy cows and improve the pregnancy rate of dairy cows.
