This product is a yellow clear oily liquid.
Pharmacodynamic. Sex hormones. The effect of Altrenogest is similar to that of natural progesterone. During administration, it can inhibit the secretion of gonadotrophin by the pituitary gland, prevent follicular development and estrus. After administration, the pituitary gland resumes secretion of gonadotrophin, promoting follicular development and estrus. When the medication is stopped, the degree of follicular development is consistent, and the secretion of gonadotrophin is restored synchronously, which promotes all animals to estrus synchronously 5-8 days after the medication is stopped.
Pharmacokinetics. This product is rapidly absorbed in the gastrointestinal tract, reaching its peak blood concentration 1 hour after the first administration and approximately 4 hours after the 18th administration. Altrenogest is mainly metabolized by the liver and excreted through bile, with a half-life of about 14 hours.
Used to control the oestrus synchronization of gilts.
It is measured by Altrenogest. Feed directly with 5ml by nozzle or spray on the feed for oral administration. One dose, 20 mg (5 ml) per gilt daily for 18 days.
（1）To use only in sexually mature gilts who had already presented one oestrus.
（2）Each animal is administered separately to ensure a daily dose.
（3）Use with caution in sows with acute, subacute and chronic endometritis.
（4）Wear protective clothing and gloves during operation, and wash hands after treatment and before meals.
（5）Pregnant and women of childbearing age should avoid contact with this product, and should be cautious when handling it. Accidental contact may cause menstrual disorders or prolonged pregnancy, so direct contact with white skin should be avoided as much as possible. If white skin leaks, it should be washed immediately with soap and water.
（6）The product is valid within 60 days after opening, and the unused part should be discarded.
Insufficient dosage may lead to follicular cysts.
