Gonadorelin
This product is a colorless clear liquid.
Pharmacodynamic. Hormones. Intravenous or intramuscular injection of physiological doses of gonadorelin caused a significant increase in plasma luteinizing hormone and a slight increase in follicle-stimulating hormone, which promotes the ovary oocytes maturation and ovulation in female animal or the development of the testes and sperm formation in male animals. After intramuscular injection in cows, it is rapidly absorbed at its injection site, quickly metabolized into inactive fragments in plasma, and excreted in urine.
Hormone drugs. It promotes the release of follicle-stimulating hormone and luteinizing hormone from the adenohypophysis of animals, which is used to treat the ovarian function of cows to stop, and induce estrous synchronization in cow.
For intramuscular use. The Ovsynch procedure was initiated as soon as the diagnosis of ovarian failure was confirmed in cows, and the Ovsynch procedure was started around 50 days postpartum to induce oestrus. Ovsynch procedure is as follows: on the beginning of the procedure, 100~200μg ml of this product was injected per cow, on the 7th day, cloprostenol sodium 0.5 mg was injected, a second injection of the same dosage of product was given 48 hours later, and transfusion was performed 18 to 20 hours later.
