This product is a colorless and clear liquid.
Uterotonic. This product is a synthetic analogue of the posterior pituitary hormone oxytocin, which binds to specific receptors in the smooth muscle fibers of the female reproductive organ, stimulating calcium influx and inhibiting ATP dependent calcium efflux to improve its contractility. Transform irregular weak contractions into regular strong contractions. This product stimulates uterine contractions to promote delivery, facilitates postpartum uterine involution, and eliminates pathological uterine contents (placental retention, incomplete miscarriage). In addition, carbetocin can act on the mammary gland, promoting the contraction of myoepithelial cells around acini and small mammary ducts, relaxing the anal sphincter, and promoting lactation.
Used for postpartum delayed uterine contractions and inability to shed the placenta in cows; Shorten the sow labor process and litter interval.
Based on this product. Intramuscular injection: a single dose, 0.5~1 ml (carbetocin 0.035~0.07 mg) was given to the cow after delivery the calf. 0.5~1 ml (carbetocin 0.035~0.07 mg) was given to the sow after delivery at least one piglet.
According to the recommended dose, no adverse reactions have been observed.
(1) If the cervix is not open or there are mechanical reasons that cause delayed delivery, such as obstructed birth canal, abnormal fetal position and momentum, labor convulsions, uterine rupture, uterine torsion, relatively large fetus or birth canal malformation, it is strictly prohibited to use it for induction of labor.
(2) The interval between two injections should not be less than 24 hours.
(3) Pregnant and lactating women should avoid contact with this product.
(4) Please keep it out of reach of children.
(5) Use an injection needle to pierce through the stopper (do not open the stopper directly) and extract the remaining liquid. Store the remaining liquid in the original packaging paper box, sealed and protected from light, with a shelf life of 28 days.
(6) After delivering at least one piglet, confirm that the birth canal is intact and unobstructed, and the cervix is open before using this product. Ensure that the use of this product will not result in malignant consequences such as uterine rupture due to mechanical obstruction of the birth canal.
